Adebo Ogundoyin, son of late Eruwa-born politician, Adeseun Ogundoyin, who won last Saturday’s bye-election in Ibarapa East State Constituency Of Oyo State House of Assembly, this morning received his certificate of returns from the Independent National Electoral Commission,
The younger Ogundoyin, who was accompanied by party leaders and members of Oyo State PDP Executives led by the State Secretary, Alh Emiola Wasii, later visited the Ondo Street, Bodija residence of the state party leader, Sen. Rashidi Ladoja.
Adebo defeated the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Accord and other parties.
Insight Oyo recalled that the seat became vacant following the death of the speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Barr Adesina Michael Adeyemo, who died last month.
Residents Electoral Commissioner, Barr Mutiu Agboke, who issued Certificate of Returns to him at INEC office in Ibadan, congratulated him.
At Ladoja’s residence were the State Chairman of PDP, Alh Kunmi Mustapha and Adebo’s mother, Chief Mrs Tina Ogundoyin.
