Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2019 governorship election, Adebayo Adelabu, this evening hosted winner of last Sunday’s Miss Oyo beauty contest, Princess Adedoja Adeyemi and 6 others to a dinner at his exquisite Best Western Plus Hotel, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
The former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, used the occasion to fulfill promises made to the winner and other finalists.
While the winner went home with N250,000, the first runner up is N150,000 while second runner up got N100,000. The third runner up got N50,000. Miss Intellect, Miss Photogenic, Miss Elegant went home with N50,000 each.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had reported how the 24-year master’s degree student at the University of Lagos, UNILAG, defeated other contestants who represented the the 14 federal constituencies in the state.
The annual beauty pageant, which took place inside the Felicia Hall of Jogor Center, Liberty road, Ibadan, saw the 24-year old graduate of the Osun State University, UNIOSUN, going home with a Toyota Camry car donated by proprietor of Ilaji Hotels and Resort, Akanran, Chief Dotun Sanusi and other prizes.
The event, is a brainchild ace broadcaster, Mayor Isaac Brown through his company – Gotham City Network.
At the event, gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, surprised the three runners up with scholarship and cash prizes of N250,000, N150,000 and N100,000 respectively.
