Following the insecurity ravaging Oyo and neighboring states, a former Commissioner of Police in Oyo and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mr Leye Oyebade has arrived the state.
His deployment to Oyo State by the Inspector General of Police, Mr Adamu, where he had held forth as State Police Commissioner is not unconnected with the seemingly break down of law and order which saw hoodlums looting, engaging policemen and attacking policemen in recent time.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had last night reported that Oyebade will swing into action by visiting trouble spots, organise aerial helicopter patrol and engage community and other critical stakeholders with a view to stem the mayhem in the bud.
He paid an operational visit to Oyo and Osun on Monday, meeting Governors Seyi Makinde and Gboyega Oyetola and lectured officers and men of the commands.
