Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Prof. Adeolu Akande, has congratulated his friend of close to four decades, Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin, as he clocks 57.
Akande, who is of the same All Progressives Congress, APC, with the Ibadan senior chief, said he was proud of Folarin’s achievements.
Akande and the three-term lawmaker representing Oyo central senatorial district were classmates at the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan between 1984 and 1987.
In a congratulatory statement, Akande explained that “I’m not surprised about your trajectory in politics going by your political antecedent at the University of Ibadan where you also shone as a footballer. So, watching your meteoric rise in politics evokes memory of our days at the University of Ibadan.
“As you reach 57, I want to wish you all the best things life can afford. You are cherished, Oloye!,” the statement concluded.
