Former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala yesterday visited the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that the All Progressives Congress, APC, was in the ancient town to formally invite the monarch as chairman of his 70th birthday and book launch.
Alao-Akala, it would be recalled, turned 70 in June 2020 but Covid-19 prevented an elaborate birthday celebration that had been planned for him.
The event is billed for the first week of November 2020.
