Ilaji Resort Boss Continues Giant Strides, Attracts Access Bank Mobile Branch To Akanran

In a bid to complete its socio-economic development of Akanran and its environs, the CEO/Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort yesterday along with other notable personalities of the towns commissioned a mobile banking center inside the Resort.

The moble banking center which was made possible by Access Bank was brought to Ilaji Resorts with a view to bringing banking activities closer to the people of Akanran, the headquarters of Ona-Ara Local Government and its environs.

It will be recalled that the management of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort recently completed a telecommunication mast with the sole aim of improving the communication network of its host communities.

In his words, the Access bank representatives urged people living around Akanran town and its environs to make use of the opportunities, adding that every other banking transactions like opening of accounts, cash withdrawal and cash deposit as well as cash payment through Western Union Transfer which are done in the conventional banking hall will also be carried out there.

The caretaker chairman, Ona-Ara Local Government, lauded Sanusi’s relentless efforts towards socio-economic development of Akanran in particular and Ona-Ara Local Government in general.

He added that his administration is looking forward to synergise with Ilaji Resorts on how further socio-economic development can be attracted to Ona-Ara as a whole.

Among dignitaries present at the commissioning include; the caretaker chairmen of Ona-Ara LG, Inukan LCDAs, Egbeda LG. Also in attendance were; the Alakanran of Akanran, Oba James Oladipupo Obisesan, the Alakanran in council, Access Bank representatives, the General Manager, Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Mrs. Nike Remi-Olarinde, among others.
