A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Engr. Idris Adeoye has congratulated a former chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, Adeolu Akande on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.
Adeoye felicitated with the celebrant in a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Friday.
In the statement, he described Akande as a man whose commitment to Nigeria’s development is worthy of emulation.
“I have known Prof. for years and if there is something you can’t take away from him, it’s his commitment to the improvement of the welfare of his people and the overall growth of this country.
“His 60th birthday anniversary provides me with a rare opportunity to not only congratulate him, but to also thank him for his selfless service and immense contributions to public good,” the statement read.
Adeoye then prayed that the Almighty continue to grant him the strength to serve the public in all spheres of life.
