Renowned girls’ advocate, social impact leader, and founder of women for Greater Good Foundation, Fatima Hassan has officially announced the publication of her first book. An inspiring guide created to empower, educate and support girls as they navigate the different stages of life.
Borne out of years of grassroots advocacy, mentorship and direct engagement with thousands of girls in schools and communities, the book addresses the realities young girls face while providing practical guidance, encouragement and the confidence to dream bigger, make informed choices and reach their full potential.
More than just a publication, the book is an extension of Fatima’s long-standing commitment to advancing opportunities for girls through education, leadership development and personal growth. It reflects lessons gathered from years of community impact, conversations with young people and a deep understanding of the challenges confronting the girl child today.
Speaking on the publication, Fatima Hassan said:
“This book is more than a personal milestone, it is a continuation of the work I have dedicated my life to. My desire is that every girl, regardless of her background, has access to the guidance, hope and inspiration she needs to believe in herself and pursue a brighter future.”
In line with this vision, the book is not a profit-making project. Rather than being sold for commercial gain, it is designed to be distributed free of charge to girls through partnerships with individuals, corporate organizations, institutions, foundations and development partners who share a commitment to girl-child empowerment.
Support packages have been created to enable partners and well-meaning individuals to sponsor the printing and distribution of copies to schools, communities and underserved girls across Nigeria. Every contribution directly increases the number of girls who will receive the book at no cost.
Fatima Hassan is therefore calling on organizations, philanthropists, public leaders and members of the public to join this movement by supporting the initiative, sharing the vision and partnering to place this resource into the hands of as many girls as possible.

Fatima Hassan is the Founder and Executive Director of women for Greater Good Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women and girls through education, leadership, entrepreneurship and advocacy. She is also the Deputy State Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State and has dedicated years to creating opportunities that enable girls and young women to thrive.
