From 10 am tomorrow, all roads will lead to the Ibadan Recreation Club venue of this year’s Food and Comedy Festival as all plans are in top gear to witness the second edition of the entertaining event.
This is coming after the first edition which held last year in Ibadan, the capital of the pace setter state, recorded success.
At a press conference to kick-start the event in Ibadan, Segun Ogundipe (Lafup) who is the organizer of the event explained that the second edition of the Food and Comedy Festival Season 2 was designed to surpass the maiden edition of 2022 with many special features and add-ons activities to make it a memorable one.
“We’re making sure that all stones are not left unturned as we have gathered top class kitchens in and out of Ibadan to come and showcase their delicious and nutritious food in varieties to different class of food lovers in Ibadan and beyond.”
“This program is basically to explore the richness of Ibadan culture and tradition once again and bring in some other food cultures of other neighboring cities that will be participating in the event.”
“To icing the cake of the food vendors in Ibadan in all their classes, we’ve designed many activities to showcase varieties of African foods, share ideas and build collaborative business and working relationships among the food actors and operators in the ancient city of Ibadan,”
In furtherance to the above, top guys in entertainment industry are coming to grace the event and make it fun and lively for all to laugh away their sorrow.
“We’re bringing in two actors and operators in the field of entertainment and foods. This is so to make sure we are bridging gaps and grow businesses beyond the imaginable limits of the vendors.”
“We are also keen to promote farmers, food suppliers, and all operators of food service chains in Ibadan.”
The event is slated for the first day of October 2023; October 1st.
