Members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have nothing to worry about considering the pedigree of those leaving the party for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
A PDP chieftain in Osun state, Mr Osunkile Gbenga Taiwo, stated this in a chat with Uniq FM news, while calling on party faithful to remain calm.
Osunkile was reacting to the recent defection of a former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode from the PDP to the APC.
The governorship aspirant said Fani-Kayode and some others who are leaving the party are political jobbers whose exit from the PDP rather than shatter the party will bring stability.
He called on party members to continue working towards the success of the party in forthcoming elections across the country and Osun in particular come next year.
OGT as fondly called assured party members of better days ahead in the PDP fold, given the reality dawning on Nigerians and Osun people that it is the alternative out of the quagmire which it has found itself.
