Akobo-Oju’rin: Oyo Disengages Contractor For ‘Non-performance’, To Re-award Contract

The Oyo State government has disengaged the contractor handling Akobo – Oju-rin road project.

While addressing the press earlier today, commissioner for public works and transport, Professor Raphael Afonja, disclosed the reason for disengaging the contractor on ‘Idi-ape – Akobo Oju’rin’ road project as non-performance over the project.

He further disclosed that the project will be re-awarded to another contractor soon.

He therefore appealed to road users to exercise patience with the State government as Governor Seyi Makinde led government is not going to relent in her onerous task of making the lives of Oyo State dwellers more comfortable.
