Fagade Congratulates Alli, Adedeji, Other APC Candidates • Commends FG’s Approval Of ₦1.37tr Road Infrastructure Projects In Oyo
Aare Abisoye Fagade, a prominent APC Stakeholder in Oyo State and Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), has congratulated Senator Sharafa Alli, Hon. Soji Adedeji and all candidates who emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections, urging them to unite the party and work collectively towards delivering victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.
In a statement issued on Friday, Fagade described the successful conclusion of the primaries as another demonstration of the party’s democratic credentials and called on all members, including those who may be dissatisfied with the outcome, to place the collective interest of the party and the development of Oyo State above personal ambitions.
“Primary elections naturally produce winners and those who may feel disappointed. However, the larger objective must remain the progress of our party and the future of Oyo State. This is the time to close ranks, reconcile and work together for victory,” he said.
Fagade noted that the Federal Government’s approval of ₦1.37 trillion for major road infrastructure projects across Oyo State is a landmark investment that reflects President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to the state’s development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, the unprecedented investment in road infrastructure will improve connectivity, facilitate trade, enhance agricultural and industrial productivity, attract private investment and stimulate sustainable economic growth across the state.
“The approval of these projects is a clear demonstration that Oyo State occupies a strategic place in the Federal Government’s development agenda. It presents an opportunity that demands visionary leadership, political stability and effective collaboration to ensure timely execution and maximum benefits for our people.”
He urged all APC candidates to campaign on the party’s record of performance and the tangible developmental gains that come with constructive engagement between the state and the Federal Government.
Fagade further appealed to party leaders, stakeholders, elected officials and supporters across the state to strengthen internal cohesion and mobilise support for all APC candidates, stressing that unity remains the party’s greatest strength.
“Oyo State stands at a defining moment in its development journey. This is not the time for division or personal grievances. It is the time to unite behind a common vision, consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda and position our state to maximise the unprecedented opportunities being provided by the Federal Government.”
He reaffirmed his confidence in the APC’s candidates. He expressed optimism that a united party would secure victory at the polls and provide the leadership required to fully leverage the Federal Government’s historic investment in road infrastructure across Oyo State.
