Adekola, who was the youth leader of Accord and African Democratic Congress, ADC, has been a subject of discussion following his decision to pitch his tent with the aggrieved members of the PDP who are not happy with the running of the affairs of the party in the state.

Only four days ago, Adekola resigned his membership of the PDP at his ward 9, Ibadan North West local government, to make his defection formal.

In the letter, Adekola, who is known as a great youth mobilizer, stated that “it is with a deep sense of responsibility that I write to notify you that as a result of serious irreconcilable differences, I have reached the conclusion that my continued stay in the PDP is untenable and therefore effective from today, Friday the 22nd day of April, 2022 I have withdrawn my membership from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.”
