EXCLUSIVE: 3 Banks Shut Down Operations In Ibadan Over COVID-19 Cases

Three banks have shut down operations in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, owing to suspected coronavirus cases, OYOINSIGHT.COM can exclusively report.

One of the banks, which is just 400 meter away from the seat of power, shut down operation last Thursday after one of its staff showed symptoms of COVID-19. On Friday, the suspect’s colleagues were asked to isolate themselves and stay away from work.

Before them, two financial institutions around Dugbe, an old and new generation banks, were said to have shut down few days earlier owing to the same reason.

OYOINSIGHT.COM learnt that there were plans to  conduct test on staff of the three banks.
