One of the banks, which is just 400 meter away from the seat of power, shut down operation last Thursday after one of its staff showed symptoms of COVID-19. On Friday, the suspect’s colleagues were asked to isolate themselves and stay away from work.
Before them, two financial institutions around Dugbe, an old and new generation banks, were said to have shut down few days earlier owing to the same reason.
