While calling the attention of the House to Olaleye’s dressing, Hon. Olusegun Ajanaku representing Ibadan South West 1  state constituency raised a motion that Olaleye be properly dressed or leave the chamber because they are not comfortable with it.

He noted that the House rules says that any member should properly be dressed while at the chamber.

Hon. Solomon Akande who represents Ogbomoso South state constituency, in his submission said “Hon. Olaleyems  dressing is a deliberate attempt to distract the house.

Attempt by Olaleye to defend himself was subdued with arguments from members who contributed to the motion.

Olaleye later removed the fez cap and replaced it with a traditional cap

The Speaker, Hon. Olagunju Ojo, however submitted that any lawmaker that does not dress well at plenary would be sent out of the chamber.

In a chat with OYO INSIGHT, Olaleye described the development as a mere family affairs, joking that “though we must dress completely but there is nowhere the type of car we should use is stipulated.”
