The member-elect representing Irepo/Oorelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency, Olumide Ojerinde, on Tuesday, congratulated Muslim faithful across the country on the successful conclusion of the Ramadan fast, counseling them to continue to adhere to the Holy Quran’s teachings on love and sacrifice.
Ojerinde, who made this statement in his Eid-el-Fitri message to constituents, maintained that the essence of Ramadan, which is to learn self-restraint, charity and goodwill towards others should not be lost after the Holy Month.
He said: “I felicitate with my Muslim brothers and sisters both my constituents and across the country. May the blessings of Allah follow their acts of worship. I also want to encourage all Muslim faithful to continue to live in love and make sacrifices for others for the betterment of our society.”
