The lawmaker representing Irepo/Olorunsogo/Oorelope federal constituency, Hon. Olumide Ojerinde, has distributed food items to members of his All Progressives Congress, APC, in the zone.
The items included 700 bags of 5kg semovita and 700 cartons of spaghetti, which were distributed across the 30 wards in the federal constituency.
According to the youthful lawmaker, the gesture is one of his plans to alleviate the suffering of his party men and constituents.
Adding that he had to start from the party because their items were the first to be sorted, he said his constituents would start getting theirs any moment from now.
”We have been doing things like this before but we have got to do this more than before because of the effect of season. Our people have been badly hit; they need to be assisted,” he added.
