OYOINSIGHT.COM learnt that the method adopted is via a recorded phone call. “We have obtained the phone lines of everybody living in the state and according to local government basis. The voices of the monarchs across local government areas in the state have been recorded. For Iwajowa local government, we target 150, 000 people. This is apart from the radio and television advertorials ongoing on various platforms,” Olatubosun added.

While urging the people to adhere to the directives of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, he advised residents to wash their hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser regularly. He also advised them to maintain social distancing.

He added that government no stone unturned in its bid to protect residents and prevent the spread of the virus.

“After this, we would be moving to some other local government. We are of the view that no methods should be spared in our bid to educate our people on the menace of this pandemic and how to prevent the spread,” he said further.
