The minister of youth and sports development, Mr Sunday Dare, has distributed 10,000 hand sanitizers to oyo state citizens to help prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
The minister made the distribution of the alcoholic based hand sanitizers in Oyo state.
According to him, the donation was in view of the shortage and hike of hand sanitizers following the outbreak of the disease so that the poor who cannot afford it can get it free of charge.
The minister said he will continue producing hand sanitizers to help meet the needs of more households.
“I want to assure the citizens that in no distance time the global pandemic will come to an end soon”. He said.
Recall that Oyo state has eight confirmed cases of Covid-19, according to NCDC.
