The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency in the house of representatives, Hon. Shina Abiola Peller, has wished Governor Seyi Makinde speedy recovery after testing positive for coronavirus.
The lawmaker, who is the owner of Lagos-based Club – Quilox, disclosed this in a statement on his official social media accounts on Monday night.
In the statement, he also expressed his gratitude to everyone who been part of the fight to defeat covid-19 a disease that has killed thousands globally.
“Your Excellency Seyi Makinde, I wish you quick recovery and good health. We are thankful to you and all who have been working very hard since the outbreak of this disease. I pray that God will bring an end to this pandemic very soon.
“May God heal the world and bring prosperity back to our lands. Get well soon, our Governor” the statement read.
OYOINSIGHT.COM had earlier reported how the number one citizen of the state announced that he has tested positive to coronavirus in a tweet on his official Twitter account on Monday evening.
At the time of writing this report, the total number of confirmed cases by the NCDC in the country is now 131 with two deaths.
The index case in Oyo – the pacesetter State is now eight.
