CORONAVIRUS: Ex-Finance Commissioner Relieves Oyo Indigenes With Over 200 Bags Of Rice

As part of the continued support to provide relief to the populace of Oyo State from the restrictions imposed by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus, immediate past finance commissioner has distributed over 200 bags of rice across the 33 local government areas in the state.

Oyo State government, OYOINSIGHT.COM, had in her bid to prevent the spread of the virus  imposed a curfew from 7 pm to 6 am daily and closure of some markets

Adekanmbi, while speaking with newsmen, expressed his concern over the survival of the people in such a trying time like this.

“This is the moment when our people needed us most and we can’t afford to fail them because they deserve the best.

“I have seen a lot of people call out politicians, business moguls, and philanthropists to support this cause. They are right because irrespective of who we are, giving back to the society is best of humanism.

“This is our own little way to ensure that our people get relieved during the stay home period and I pray that Oyo State, Nigeria, and the world come out of this pandemic stronger,” he added.
