BREAKING: Oyo Assembly Inaugurates Ogundoyin As Lawmaker (SEE PHOTOS)

Adeseun Ogundoyin, who won the June 2, 2018 bye-election of Ibarapa East state constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has just been sworn in by the speaker, Hon. Olagunju Ojo.

He replaced late speaker Adesina Michael Adeyemo, who died towards the end of April.

Ogundoyin, 31, defeated late Adeyemo’s younger brother, Kunle and others.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain is the youngest in the Assembly.

At the inauguration were chieftains of the party which included its state chairman, Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha and mother of the new lawmaker- Mrs Tina Ogundoyin.

The lawmaker, together with other PDP lawmakers in the Assembly is expected to head towards the Bodija home of leader of the party, Sen. Rashidi Ladoja.

Ogundoyin’s father, a businessman and politicain- Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin, died 27 years ago when he was barely 4 years old.
