BREAKING: Contact Tracing Begins As UCH Doctor Tests Positive For COVID-19

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has announced that a new case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the State.

The governor disclosed this in a statement on official twitter account on Saturday night.

“The COVID-19 confirmation test for one suspected case, a doctor at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, came back POSITIVE, today.

Isolation and contact tracing have commenced. So, there are currently eight active cases in Oyo State,”the statement read.
