The people of Ogo-Oluwa and Surulere local government areas of Oyo State are in joyous mood as a popular council chairman, Ibrahim Azeez Gbodeniyi has dumped the Action Democratic Congress, ADC, for the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
Gbodeniyi, who was chairman of Surulere local government Area, Iresaadu, is said to be moving to enable him to pursue his house of representatives’ ambition to represent the people of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency.
A source close to him told OYOINSIGHT.COM that “it’s no longer a news that the Okanlomo of Oko Irese is nursing the ambition of representing the good and great people of Ogo Oluwa/Surulere federal constituency and as such SDP will be the best platform to actualize the dream. I will brief you more later.”
This newspaper also learnt that the politician would be declaring his defection and ambition today.
