‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has revealed that his leader and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has not called or texted him since the explosion that rocked Ibadan occurred.
Thanking Peter Obi, candidate of the Labour Party, LP, who came to commiserate with the state Monday morning, Makinde said President Bola Tinubu has also called.
”I want to thank you especially for the visit. Out of the 3 major candidates who contested the 2023 election, only Atiku Abubakar, my own leader and our candidate hasn’t called to commiserate the state. I am saying this openly so that our leaders will know that we have time for politics and others. I want to thank you once again for coming,” Makinde told Obi, who has Aisha Yesufu in his entourage.”
