A former House Of representatives member representing Ibarapa North and Central federal constituency Hon.Muraina Ajibola has advised APC stakeholders as well as people in the area to remain committed to the progress and unity of the party and eschew acrimonious act that can impede the development of the two local governments in Oyo State.
He gave the advise at the over 200 million naira worth mega empowerment for the constituents held at Igbo ora in Ibarapa Central local area of Oyo state.
Hon.Muraina Ajibola however stressed the need for people of Ibarapa to always speak with one voice especially Political matters in order to take their prime seat in the scheme of decision making in governance in Nigeria and should not allow any intruder to come in between them .
The former ranking federal lawmaker who reminded his constituents at the gathering on how those intruders conspired against the chances of Ibarapa producing the speaker house of representatives in 2011 and deputy minority whip in 2019 respectively
He therefore charged the people of Ibarapa on strong cohesion between and among them so as to be part of those decision makers in the nation’s political space.
While distributing and handing over the items to them,Hon.Muraina Ajibola who was one time chairman house of representatives committee on petroleum resources noted that he won’t rest on his oars in rendering assistance to better the lot of his people whether holding political office or not saying he has become part and parcel of him to do good always for people.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the items distributed and not to sell them while calling on those who are yet to benefit from the largesse not to despise hope that it ll soon get to their turn while exercising patience with him
Apart from this particular empowerment which is among several empowerments facilitated by the Lawmaker,hon.Muraina Ajibola said he had been able to facilitate over 400 jobs for youths in the federal constituency
Meanwhile ,APC chieftains as well as stakeholders in Ibarapa North and Central federal constituency took turns in their separate remarks to eulogize and shower encomiums on Hon.Muraina Ajibola for always prioritizing both of development of constituents as well as constituency .
They thereafter urged all and sundry in the two local governments to put distractions aside from opposition and outsiders and rally round the third term house of representatives member whenever he beckons for their support in the axis.
One of the stakeholders Sharafa Olaoniye popularly known as Bibire from Ward 1 noted that Hon.Muraina Ajibola has been a blessing to the federal constituency and never had representative like him in the history of Ibarapa North and Central federal constituency.
The beneficiaries of the empowerment program who were selected across communities in the two local governments smiled home with different items which included includes tricycles, motorcycles, and grinding machines.
The elated beneficiaries commended Hon.Muraina Ajibola for the gesture saying he has always been a source of hope for them in the federal constituency and prayed to God Almighty to continue to facilitate his affairs in the right direction
Over 400 grinding machines,100 motorcycles and 6 tricycles worth of over 200 million naira were distributed.
Hon.Muraina Ajibola was the ex- caretaker chairman for Ibarapa Central local and thereafter represented the two local governments that make up the federal constituency at the green chamber three different terms and had the opportunity of chairing various house of representatives standing committees on MDGs as well as agencies including petroleum resources
