A top gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Chief Bayo Adelabu is to be conferred with the Chieftaincy title of Aare Asoludero of Ado-Awaye town.
This is coming less than 4 years after the young Adelabu, who recently resigned as deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, was installed Agbaakin Parakoyi of Ibadanland.
Ado-Awaye is a few kilometers drive from Iseyin.
The installation, according to the Alado of Ado-Awaye, Oba Rev. Ademola Olugbile Folakanmi, in a statement by his private secretary, Prince Oyeniyi Okunade, is to showcase the achievements of Kabiyesi in the last one year “while the occasion is to appreciate the former deputy governor of the CBN on his contributions to the nation during his stay at the apex bank.
The event will hold on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Alado’s Palace in the ancient town.
