A prominent community leader in Oyo State and international businessman, Oloye Babatunde Ologburo is set to provide succour for forty trainees of Youth Entrepreneurship in Agric Project, YEAP trained at CSS Nasarawa State to set up livestock farming.
The Sanmori Adini of Oyo Land who commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the initiatives in a chat with journalists in Ibadan, said “The gesture is for the celebration of the Engr. Seyi Makinde’s birthday in my local government and to support his vision in agricultural development and agribusiness in oyo state.
“It is also to appreciate the governor for giving the local contractors and artisans opportunities in his government,” he added.
The Oyo-born philanthropist who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Quickborn Nigeria Ltd had in a letter dated 24th November, 2023 and directed to the commissioner for local government and chieftaincy matter, Hon Segun Olayiwola, read in part.
The letter reads in parts:
“I have carefully studied our leader and the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde’s vision for agricultural development in Oyo State. I commended him for sending our young ones to CSS farms, Nasarawa for training in Agricbusiness.
“I will like to support our governor and leader on this vision by supporting 40 Agribusiness CSS Nasarawa graduates, the support is for those who are very passionate to pursue animal business as career.
“This programme will be coordinated by Hon. Akeem Salam, chairman, Oyo West Local Government, a graduate of animal science and an entrepreneur in animal business for over a decade.”
“The successful ones will further be supported to access SME loans from the CBN,” the letter added.
