Oyo Has Spent N2.7b On COVID-19 — Govt

Oyo State has expended N2.7 billion in the fight against COVID-19.

This was revealed by the Commissioner of Finance in the state, Hon. Akinola Ojo.

The Commissioner revealed this while briefing newsmen shortly after the State Executive Council meeting on Tuesday.

He also stated that the state had received a sum of N1.177 billion in donations to support its fight against the novel virus.

He noted that the N2.7 billion is the total amount the state had expended in the fight against the virus since the 20th of March March the index case was confirmed.
