The former president of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, and a senatorial aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Oyo Central, Comrade Olawale James Ajani has commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde, Olubadan in council and the people of Ibadanland on the demise of Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji.
Oba Adetunji, it would be recalled, died last Sunday at 93.
Ajani prayed for God’s protection over all the late monarch loved ones.
He noted that late late monarch was a father to all and unifier, who distinguished himself in all positions and responsibilities during his reign.
Ajani called for maturity on the part of the High Chiefs in settling any rancour, saying that Ibadan is always known for peace.
“Let all of us put Ibadan first all what we do now and in the future as well as in any other key things,” he added, praying for the repose of the soul of the monarch.
