Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, today led a delegation of his core loyalists and former PDP National and state assembly candidates on a courtesy visit to the Bodija residence of Senator Sarafadeen Alli, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ambassador Arapaja in a press release issued by his personal assistant Bamitale Ibrahim explained that the visit was a reciprocal gesture following Senator Alli’s earlier visit to his Felele home, noting that his team remains fully committed to securing a clean sweep for all APC candidates in the upcoming general elections.

He emphasized that real political work has commenced with the official launch of campaigns and declared that his team would not allow votes to be wasted or diverted away from APC presidential candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

His words: “We have all seen what is happening in our state; this is where the pendulum is swinging. We shall not allow ourselves to be used against our fellow Yoruba man who means well for us.

The Northerners spent their eight years without interruption, and they should allow Tinubu to complete his eight years before yearning for power again.

Here in Oyo State, we politicians know those capable of delivering good governance with a human face. We should not listen to their propaganda and tissues of lies. Their lies have been exposed. He stated.

Responding to the solidarity visit, Senator Alli expressed deep appreciation to Arapaja and his delegation. He assured the group and the broader electorate that he would fulfill his campaign promises if entrusted with the gubernatorial mandate.

Alli urged APC supporters across the state to redouble their efforts to deliver landslide victories, promising that every committed party member would be adequately rewarded.
