Yunus Akintunde, senator representing Oyo central senatorial district, has congratulated Zacch Adedeji over his appointment as acting chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS.
Akintunde and Adedeji are from the same senatorial district as the former is from Oyo West local government while the latter is from Ogo-Oluwa local government.
According to the All Progressives Congress, APC, lawmaker, he has no doubt in the capacity of Adedeji, who holds a doctorate degree like him, to deliver in his position.
”Anybody who has met Zacch will testify to his brilliance. Our paths first crossed in 2011 when we were both appointed commissioners under the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
”I thank the President for appointing my constituent in this all-important position to help our country in building our internally generated revenue and redirect our economy. I am happy to be associated with Zacch. And I congratulate him,” Akintunde added.
