Yunus Akintunde Expresses Shock Over Fresh FM’s Ajiboye’s Death, Sympathizes With Ayefele

Yunus Akintunde, All Progressives Congress, APC, an aspirant in Oyo central senatorial district, has expressed shock over the death of David Ajiboye, a top staff of the Fresh FM’s family.

The late station manager of Fresh FM Ado-Ekiti and publicist of the owner, Yinka Ayefele, was said to have died Sunday evening.

According to the media office of the Akintunde, who is a former works and transport commissioner in Oyo State, “I didn’t know the deceased personally but I heard what my people said about him. I can say with all sense of modesty that he was a professional to the core. From his days at the Nigerian Tribune, he did his very best.

”I was told how he has been a publicist of Dr. Yinka Ayefele, leader of the Merrymakers Band. I have listened to his contributions to the success of Fresh. It is so sad that we are losing him at this point. Yes, I am a muslim and I believe that every human being would die. However, I want to say I am shocked by Mr. Ajiboye’s death.

”Fresh FM family would definitely be affected. They would surely miss his Midas touch. They will miss everything about him. I will like to urge my brother, Dr. Yinka Ayefele to take heart. I know how it feels but he needs to be strong. Me. Ajiboye’s family would need him to be strong. I also like to commiserate with members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, for the loss of one of its important members,” the statement added.
