Three-term member representing AFIJIO/Atiba/Oyo East/Oyo West federal constituency, Prince Akeem Adeyemi, has described the executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Zacch Adedeji Ph.D as he clocks 47.
Skimeh, as the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain is known, said Adedeji is a mentor and role-model to many young people across the country and beyond.
In a personally signed congratulatory message, Skimeh described Zacch as one of the nation’s pride, recalling how the Iwo Ate-born tax boss has assisted the country in revenue growth and development.
”I wish Dr Zacch Adedeji a hearty birthday. Since our paths crossed, he has proven to be a kind hearted man, one who always leaves lasting mark in the mind of anyone that comes across him.
”Since he became executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, he has set and broken his own record. As we are going, Nigeria would depend less on borrowing with the kind of tax reengineering Dr Adedeji has begun.
“I am proud to be associated with this shinning light from my darling state. I pray he continues to succeed as he continues in assisting with development in our country. Congratulations to my amiable brother.”
