The Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State, Ogunsina Michael has slammed the lawmaker representing Saki West local government, Shittu Ibrahim, describing him as an “overrated dickhead.”
OYOINSIGHT.COM gathered that on Friday, the Saki West lawmaker, one of the few members of the opposition in the PDP-dominated Oyo state House of Assembly, criticized Governor Seyi Makinde for refusing to release the constituency allowance of lawmakers, making it difficult for them to be impactful in their respective constituencies.
Reacting to the lawmaker’s claim, Ogunsina, PDP’s spokesperson in the state wrote on Facebook that the lawmaker is only attempting to blame the Governor for his own failure.
“So the Honorable member representing Saki West has chosen to throw caution to the wind. He has decided to bring Seyi Makinde into his failure and unfortunately, he has failed.
“Someone close to him should tell him that excuses are food for failures. There are 32 Members of the State Assembly and he is just one of the 32! He is not the only APC member in that assembly but he is the most difficult, combative and troublesome.
”In his primary business of Lawmaking, he is found wanting, in intervention and outreaches, he is lacking, he is a young man that lacks tact and does not know how to engage meaningfully
“To say that Governor Seyi Makinde is denying OYO State House of Assembly members their benefits is nothing but a pure lie! There is no Governor that has shown love, support and that has motivated State Lawmakers like the Governor of Oyo State,” he wrote.
Responding to a question about the approach of his response to the lawmaker’s claim, Ogunsina added that the lawmaker is an “overrated dickhead in Saki West” and he “should come out and tell us what he has been denied since he became a Lawmaker.”
