You Are A Committed Democrat — Tinubu Celebrates Soji Akanbi At 59

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has felicitated Senator Rilwan Akanbi on the occasion of his 59th birthday.

Tinubu described Akanbi, who who represented the Oyo South Senatorial District in the 8th Senate, as a grass roots politician and a philanthropist.

Tinubu in statement by his Media Office said, “Warm felicitations to Senator Rilwan Akanbi on his attainment of 59 on Thursday. A grass roots politician, committed democrat and experienced lawmaker, Senator Akanbi has made remarkable contributions to Ibadanland, Oyo State and Nigeria in general.

“He served with all he is imbued with, whether as a member of the House of Representatives from 1992 to 1993; and during his sojourn in the 8th Senate between 2015 and 2019.”
