Oyo State Governor-elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde has congratulated Governor Nyesom Wike on his reelection as the Rivers State Governor.
In the congratulatory message made available to newsmen by his spokesman, Prince Dotun Oyelade, Makinde declared that Wike’s victory would have generated more excitement if only the people of the state were not made to go through hell and back.
“Here was an election that was won at the first ballot but which the powers that be delayed deliberately to see if the victory could be truncated,” he said.
The governor elect added in the statement “we congratulate the long suffering people of River State for standing up to their conviction to the end”
