Ibadan-based music producer and singer, Yinka Ayefele, has revealed why he sees his colleagues and relates with them like mates.
Ayefele revealed this in an interview with The PUNCH in reaction to a video where water was poured on him on his birthday by his workers
According to him, “That’s how I relate with my staff members. I see them as my colleagues and relate with them like my mates. Whatever we do to anyone of them is the same thing I expect them to do to me.
“Whenever any of them is celebrating their birthdays, I join them to pour water, palm oil, soft drinks, or even diesel on the person, so I don’t see anything bad in what was done.”
Ayefele, who is the owner of Ibadan-based radio station, FreshFM, also maintained that he feels more alive than ever beforebecause he feels younger at 53.
He stressed further that when people around him appreciate him, especially with his condition and the pain he has gone through it makes him feel alive.
The father of three, who recently clocked 53 also says he feels younger at that age.
He added that the only time he feels older is when his staff members call him ‘daddy’.
