My Congratulatory Message to Governor Seyi Makinde on One Year of Impactful Governance
A certain Chinese proverb says that a journey of a thousand miles starts with a step. Since the inauguration of Engineer Seyi Makinde as the governor of Oyo State a year ago, his administration took upon a journey to take our dear Oyo State to a new threshold of abundant prosperity and all-round development.
Today, and one year into that journey, the good people of Oyo State bear beautiful testimonials of the Makinde administration’s good governance and impactful development in human and infrastructure development of the state.
I warmly congratulate the governor for the milestone he has attained in the first one year of his government. I also pray that in the remaining years ahead of the administration, the governor and every member of his dedicated and hardworking cabinet will be led by God’s guidance to further serve the state and its people.
In just one year, Oyo has seen transformational changes in areas of public education and investments in critical infrastructure that will stimulate economic prosperity in the state.
Through specific well thought-out policies under the watch of Governor Seyi Makinde, Oyo State is poised to match into a golden era where the people would be able to have direct benefits of government concerns.
The Makinde administration has made a bold and unambiguous statement that the people is the center-piece of every government policy and it is necessary to also congratulate the people of Oyo State for having elected a true and patriotic leader for the state.
I once again congratulate Governor Makinde for keeping his promise to the people of Oyo State and for the successes his administration has accomplished within just a year in the saddle.
