Governor Abiola Ajimobi is overcoming the defeat he suffered in the hands of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, senatorial candidate for Oyo South, Dr. Kola Balogun, quickly.

OYO INSIGHT had reported how Balogun, who is High Chief Lekan Balogun’s younger brother defeated Ajimobi in Saturday’s senatorial election.

Only yesterday, Ajimobi conceded defeat, congratulating Balogun in the process.

Ajimobi,  OYO INSIGHT gathered, told ‘weeping’ supporters who visited him that they should not weep for him as he would be compensated with a federal appointment.

Few hours after, in a video that surfaced online, Ajimobi was seen addressing the obviously dejected sympathizers, explaining that “Let’s be honest. We tried now. We broke a jinx. It will never be forgotten. You should be fair to me; I’ll be 70 this year. I need that break…”
