Unity Forum Expresses Confidence In Makinde’s Administration

The dominant block of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, the Unity Unity Forum has expressed its assurance of good governance by Engr. Seyi Makinde led government in the State.
The group unanimously sounded this on Sunday at its general meeting presided over by Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu, the overall leader at a popular event centre in Ibadan.
Reacting to the reports submitted by leaders across the 33 local government areas of the State,  Sen. Sunmonu declared her satisfaction over the commitment and loyalty of the members.
Sunmonu who was sandwiched by a team of elder stakeholders like Alhaji Rasaq Akilapa, Alhaji Sulaimon Ajibade, Alh. Rahamon Bankole, Chief Saka Kareem, Pa S. A Adeegbe and others implored the rank and file of the Unity Forum to remain steadfast and more passionate about the success of the ruling government.
According to her, ‘what we stand for as a united group is fairness and justice and so far the Governor has been keeping to his electoral promises as said to the masses with the prompt payment of salaries,  pension and gratuity, cancellation of punitive fees in public schools with distribution of free exercise and textbooks and other lofty social interventions for the well being of the people, hence we can not but give our total support to him ‘ she pledged.
Sen. Sunmonu therefore enjoined the leaders of the assembly to be firm of the collectivism ideology as imparted by Late Lam Adesina by extending the hands of fellowship to willing like minds in order to build a broad, united and progressive assembly.
 In an inclusive meeting had in attendance a list of prominent grassroots mobilizers including Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Barr. Abdulwasih Musah, the immediate former Deputy Speaker, Alh. Ladi Oluokun, the Deputy Director General, Sen. Olufemi Lanlehin Gubernatorial Campaign, Hon. Saheed Bolaji Badmus, Hon. Fatai Salam, Mr. Wasiu Adeyemo, Alh. Azeez Olorokun among others.
