…Assure. Nigerians of Better Life and Future during Tinubu/Shettima’s Tenure
Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, held a general meeting with Oyo State Support Groups for Tinubu/Shettima, 20th January 2023.
The general meeting, coordinated by the Assistant Director Support Groups Coordination APC PCC Southwest Zone, Mrs. Titilope Gbadamosi, was held at Akinremi Jagaban Hall, Emmanuel Primary School U. I. Ojoo road Ibadan, started 3pm.
Dare, who also is the Deputy Director Stakeholders Relations for APC PCC appreciated all the Support Groups, for their unrelenting support for the Tinubu/Shettima Ticket, before and after the primaries, even till now.
The Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland, while speaking at the meeting, admonished everyone not to relent and keep working hard, more than ever, as we approach the election period, because it’s only the support groups that can do the job of mobilisation, canvassing, grassroot consultation, across the Local Governments, wards, polling units and that’s why it’s important to carry them along, to get the job done. He used the medium to unveil twenty thousand (5000) ‘Pick Your PVC, Vote Tinubu/Shettima, Renewed Hope, Get Out to Vote’ fliers, which were distributed to all present at the meeting.
Dare stated further that Nigeria and Nigerians stands more chance of becoming a prosperous nation, if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed becomes the President by 2023.
He also said that the youthful generation are at a better advantage, as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a complete advocate of the youths and so passionate about lifting and bringing up youths, to enviable in positions in different capacities and human endeavour, hereby called on the youths to ensure victory for the Tinubu/Shettima Candidacy in the first ballot, 2023 Presidential elections, by voting massively.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, the Sarkin Wasanni of Hausaland said “Tinubu is a the man Nigeria needs at the moment, for a better hope, better future, better life and a better Nigeria, so we need to make everything possible to make it happen, one of which is to engage important stakeholders, and Support Groups are major players in this wise”.
Present at the meeting were APC party faithfuls, stalwarts, stakeholders and dignitaries, amongst whom we have Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Adeyemo Alake, Hon. Lekan Afuye Former Chairman of Ibadan North East, Member of PCC Support Group Coordination Southwest Hon. Taiwo Akinola, Former Deputy National Youth Leader of the APC Hon. Bolaji Afeez Rẹpẹtẹ, Former Oyo State Progressive Youth Leader Alhaji Abiodun Ambali, together with 120 Support Group Coordinators and about 200 Support Group members.
This meeting, is the second of it’s kind for Support Groups in Oyo State, after the first meeting held at Liberty Stadium, in December 2022, also coordinates by Mrs. Titilope Gbadamosi and other PCC Support Group Coordination Southwest Zone, geared towards urging support groups to go all out, canvass, mobilise and win electorates to vote massively and ensure landslide victory for Tinubu/Shettima by 2023.
