A former leader of the Nigerian Senate, Oloye Teslim Folarin yesterday penned what many have described as love letter to celebrate his wife, Mrs Angela Nwaka Folarin, on her birthday.
Mrs Folarin, an indigene of Imo State, is said to be in her late 40s. Her husband, who is an Ibadan titled chief and the only person to have been re-elected senator in the history of Oyo State, will celebrate 55 in October.
The beautiful woman, a lawyer by training, has always been supportive of her husband’s aspiration.
Folarin, who is now a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, represented Oyo Central from 2003 to 2011 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
As you celebrate another birthday and another year of our being together, I thought it appropriate to pen down my views on the journey so far.

As a wife, you have been a gift from Allah. Even though people say that I am for the most time, a difficult person (I suspect they may be right), by managing my sometimes skewed lenses to the world, you have managed to create a balance and stability for me to function.
Some of my friends recently confessed that they are only comfortable visiting when they know you are home.
The fact that you put your entire legal career on the back burner to support mine has not gone unnoticed.
As a mother, you constantly remind me of Sidikat Abebi, my late mother. We, as a family, are so lucky because you are not vain, and your selflessness is worth emulating.
The little you have is invested in the best education that money can buy for the boys. I can tell you that the boys truly appreciate this.
Politically, you somehow managed to endear yourself to my immediate family, the great people of Ibadan and they truly love you for your freshness and family values.
This family has been through a lot and you alone have been the one holding everyone together. Angela, you have panned out to be not only a God given wife and mother, you are my best friend.
As we celebrate you today, I pray that Allah grants you LLNP.
