Taoreed Lawal has sent condolence to the family of late Oba Saliu Adetunji, Olubadan of Ibadanland.

My deepest condolences to the entire people of Ibadan on the demise of our Royal Father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji (Ajeogunguniso 1), the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan, who joined his ancestors this morning.

His reign has been a true blessing to Ibadan and the entire Oyo State at large. His death is no doubt a huge loss but we take solace in the fact that he lived a purposeful life that impacted positively on the indigenes, friends and family.

I sympathize with the Olubadan council, the Oyo State’s Traditional Council and the entire Government of Oyo State, most especially the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Gov. Seyi Makinde. I pray the Almighty gives us all the strength to bear this loss.
