Otunba Wale Azeez, an aide of slain lawmaker representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency,  Hon. Olatoye Temitope Sugar, is dead.
His death came barely two weeks after his boss, who was gunned down on March 9, 2019, at Lalupon area of Ibadan, was buried.
He died on Monday, 6 days after he was reportedly hit by a bullion van whose driver allegedly drove against traffic on a ‘one way’ road.
Though details of the accident were sketchy as at press time, OYO INSIGHT learnt that the unfortunate incident happened last Wednesday.
He was said to have been rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan while the driver of the bullion van driver was detained at the Testing Ground Police Station, Iwo road.
OYO INSIGHT understands that the 47-year old has been late Sugar’s legislative aide since 2011, when the latter was elected to represent Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
