The philanthropist nature of Senator Monsurat Sunmonu has once again brought succour to the life of a woman in her late 40’s Esther Oluwakemi Abiodun who was suffering from meningitis and abandoned by her husband for weeks.
Monsurat, took the responsibility of bearing the cost of treatment of the mother of three during her campaigns to Idiroko Amuloko Area in Ona Ara local government when her father brought her for financial assistance to Sunmonu.
Being a compassionate representative who is interested in the welfare of the people of Oyo Central women inclusive, Sunmonu immediately directed that Oluwakemi ABIODUN be taken to the University College Hospital, UCH, for proper and immediate treatment.
The ADC flagbearer for Oyo central in the election coming up next Saturday has so far spent hundreds of thousands of naira for the treatment of Oluwakemi who was admitted to West 2 at the UCH.
“I’m very happy that I have been able to save Oluwakemi from untimely death because she is full of life and responding to treatment as at the moment.”
