Azeez Popoola Adeduntan, a cardiovascular surgeon and a governorship aspirant, has revealed how some aspirants under his All progressive Congress, APC, offered the controversial chairman of the APC congress in the state, Alhaji Gambo Lawan financial inducements and pressures from high quarters in Abuja to do what he called ‘jagba’ for them ahead of the October 30th, 2021, congress.
Adeduntan, who was health commissioner during the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi, said it was not just the man in the news alone but several gladiators attempted to induce the man.
Adeduntan said he has available, unassailable, credible, actionable evidence and human intelligence.
He said it was the failure of Lawan to accede to some of these requests that led some people to aim for his “jugulars.”
Adeduntan, who is also the Osi Basorun of Ibadanland, disclosed this in a recent interview with Nigeria Alert News, adding that members of the party should stop crucifying Gambo alone, as if he was the only culprit in the crisis that trailed the congress of the party.
He carpeted some governorship aspirants of the party for offering bribes to Gambo or “kneeling on his neck“ with calls from higher Abuja quarters to help them electorally during the build up to the party state congress of October 30th 2021.
He threatened that he may be forced to list the aspirants for members of the public to know how devilish they are if they continue in their anti-democratic ways in the party.
This was just as warned them to desist from calling the kettle of Gambo black, “even when they are darker than Gambo.”
He also cautioned some of the aspirants to toe the line of reasoning and allow democratic tenets to prevail or else he may be forced to mention names.
“For APc to move forward, all those who did Jagba at the wards, local government and state congresses must allow immediate harmonisation to take place.
“He that is asking for equity must come with clean hands. Otherwise, APC may hit an iceberg of unmitigated electoral disaster if this inordinate and inchoate ambitions of “JAGBA“ GLADIATORS in APC are not swiftly resolved and nipped in the bud, if it is not too late.
“Power, life and death belong to almighty GOD.
In GOD every one should TRUST, not “JAGBA,”Adeduntan advised.
