Sports Minister Launches Tinubu Door-To-Door Campaign In Oyo, Donates Vehicles

    The operations of the Contact and Mobilisation Directorate of the South-West Zonal Office of the All Progressives Council, APC, Presidential Campaign Committee, PCC, have received a big and timely boost with donations, of some office equipment, yesterday.

    Minister of youths and sports development, Sunday Dare, who is also the deputy director, stakeholders relations of the APC PCC donated the items, which includes a desktop computers as well as laptops.

    The computers were handed over to the office, along with vehicles, posters and fliers, at the situation room, situated at Oke-Bola, Ibadan.

    In his brief remarks on the occasion, the Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland said, “as we approach the period of elections, there are needs to fortify the contact and mobilization directorate, for effective mobilization, sensitization and canvassing of the electorates, as all strategies must be put in place to ensure victory for Tinubu/Shettima in the upcoming Presidential elections.

    “We are here to give all these to help in the effective realization of our goals, without much hazels. I thank everyone present here, today”.

    Receiving the items, the director, Alhaji Mutiu Aré, appreciated Dare, for the huge donations, which he admitted, would make easier, the work of the directorate, and for being consistent in his efforts towards making things work out for Asiwaju Tinubu and the APC at large.

    Fatai Ibikunle, chairman of the Nigeria Lottery Regulatory Commission, commended the minister for the gesture, saying that he and others would support the directorate. He added that in his own ways, he has continued to mobilize support for the aspiration of the former Lagos governor to become Muhammadu Buhari’s successor.

    Chairman of the Nigerian Communication Commission, NCC, Adeolu Akande, a professor, also lauded Dare for his kind gesture, promising to also contribute his quota as well.

    Present at the event, were stakeholders, including the assistant director of the contact and mobilization (South-West Zone), Alhaji Dayo Iyaniwura; assistant secretary, Alhaji Waheed Akanbi; as well as members of the directorate, Ademola Olawale (Agba Demo), Hon.Toyosi Kolade, and Hon. Adedayo Adeyemi.

    Also in attendance were the director general, Citizenship and Leadership Training Center, CLTC, Chief Soji Eniade, Assistant Director Support Groups Coordination South-West Zone Oloye Titilope Gbadamosi; and other party fateful from across Oyo State.
