While traveling on memory lane, many past events popped up in my mind. Issues ranging from faulty workers’ welfarism to incessant intimidation, oppression, cosmetic audio projects, nonchalant attitude towards pensioners, inhumanity and total disrespect to royal fathers.

These among others triggered my appetite to once again pick my pen to do justice to the captioned subject matter. I have been trying hard for the past few months to conserve my energy ahead 2023 electioneering activities but it’s pertinent to infer  that His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde can be likened to the biblical Moses who God used to deliver the Israelites out of the land of Egypt in their trying period. Many developmental projects and economy expansion policies informed my decision. Beyond rhetorics, these are verifiable facts.

I once wrote that GSM’s emergence in 2019 came at the right time as Oyo state citizen were passing through hard times under past administration who manhandled the state’s meagre resources. Electorates were cock sure that GSM will bring smiles to their faces and also make life worth living for them. You will agree with me that, they were not disappointed considering the landmark achievement of the current administration in less than three years.

After many years of staggered workers salary, Oyo state workers felt fresh air immediately after inauguration of Engr. Seyi Makinde as the Executive Governor of Oyo state. Lest I forget to mention the positive effects of regular payment of salary on our economy. Using a simple lame man language, regular salary payment will have great effect on money supply of consumers. With adequate money supply, consumers will have enough spending power; so the demand for goods increased. Market men and women will also smile home without any form of glitches.

Without much ado, the poor man on the street of Oyo State can now differentiate between Pharaoh of Egypt and the biblical Moses who is characterized with humility, empathy, heroism, patience, self-reflection, charisma and divine wisdom.

Even though, I am neither an economist nor an engineer, but as a public affairs analyst, I have taken my time to critique how GSM’s roadmap for accelerated development is faring. To say that I am convinced that we are on the right track is an understatement. We are in safe hands and it’s wise to remain focused with GSM while he take us to the promise land through God’s help.

In Oyo State today, security, economy, agric business, health care, workers welfarism are top notch. Base on this fact, we are not going back to Egypt for we are Israelites under kind leadership of our Moses. The quicker our noisy neighbors understand this, the better for them. There is no vacancy in Agodi Government house.
