Sadipe Begins Scholarship Scheme (SEE CRITERIA)

The lawmaker representing Oluyole federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has began a scholarship scheme for her constituents.

A statement personally signed by her stated that the scholarship is for people in the federal constituency who are indigent but brilliant.

Tagged TASK scholarship essay competition, it opened to undergraduates in 200 level with a second class upper CGPAs.

Only recently, Sadipe who is the only female lawmaker from the state organized an entrepreneurship training in partnership with Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) for women and youths in the federal constituency.

Sadipe also recently seconded a motion on the urgent need to curb insecurity in Zamfara,  introducing an amendment to the original motion.She had emphasized that adequate security should take a comprehensive approach instead of merely paying attention to Zamfara alone. Having established the importance of Security in Nigeria, she proposed an amendment to consider all the states in Nigeria and not just some states

Specifically, she referred to the security threat constituted along the Oyo-Osun travel route as even being a bigger threat to South West at large. Hence, the fight against insecurity should take a national approach. No state should be left behind.

Application for Hon. Tolu Akande Sadipe undergraduate Scholarship Award is ongoing!

Eligibility: The applicant must be a 200 Level student in the 2019/2020 session of Nigerian Institutions of learning with minimum CGPA of 2:1 (second class upper) and above and must be from Oluyole Local Government Area, Oyo State.

How to Apply: Qualified Students are to write a detailed letter to confirm their Oluyole indigenes and state the reason(s) why they should be selected  for the scholarship award.
